Call Federal Credit Union is one of the world's renowned credit union. This financial cooperative is a non-profit cooperative society. It is located in Richmond, Virginia, US. Call Credit Union was established in 1962 and all was operated by Philip Morris's employees. Philip Morris is well known US based cigarette division. The main objective to establish Call's Federal Credit Union was to provide financial services to the employees of Philip Morris with out earning any kind of interest. Federal Credit Union is regulated by NCUA (National Credit Administration), US. As per Federal Credit Union Act of 1934, it is non- profit and secure financial institute. The name of the financial cooperative was resultant from the name of Little Johnny who was working as bell boy and used to call as Call for Philip Morris. Initially, the Call Federal Credit was operated by its Volunteers and all the transactions were taken place under their supervision.

During the establishment and development of credit union many new records were taken place. Like, Alice S. Pearce, wife of the board member of Call Credit Union was the first employee of this financial cooperative on payment basis. In a very short span of time, Call Federal Credit Union started its other branches in other countries. Its one branch was operated especially to serve former employees of the Philip Morris. Initially, the credit union was responsible to provide all the essential needs to the staff and their families, like student's education and many more. However, its operation criteria extended and allows to non-Philip Morris members to utilize the services of Call Federal Union.

Call Federal Credit Union is insured by enough amounts which is comparable to any other traditional or contemporary financial institute or Bank. It serves all the essential services to its members from basic to additional services. Its services entail transaction, savings, loans (personal loan, house loan, education loan etc.), ATM facility, online banking and mobile banking etc. In 2008, the credit union started a scheme for young people below 18 ages. Under this scheme, these persons (below 18) were able to enjoy higher rate of interest with saving accounts in the same. The credit Union is an organization and it comprises with Board of Directors, Associate Board Members, Supervisory Committee and Credit Committee.
