The Publix Employees Federal Credit Union or also known as the PEFCU is a non-profit association and a co-operative federally chartered. It was been incorporated in the year of 1957. Today they are serving those people who need a financial help especially those retired ones. This Credit Union is currently associated with the Publix Super Market Inc. and their members of family; the Crisper's associates and their members of family; and all the members of family of the present PEFCU. The main office of this credit union is located in the Lakeland, Florida and they have already six (6) branches that are in a full service around the state: consisting in the Pembroke Pines, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Sarasota, and Altamonte Springs and in the Jacksonville. They also have a branch in the north east of Atlanta in the Norcross, Georgia.

            The mission statement of this Publix Employees Federal Credit Union is primarily to provide a quality services that will meets all the needs of their members especially on the financial one. While doing this, they are maintaining the stability of this financial organization that will adheres to the operating standards that is accepted by the Credit Union generally.

If the holiday falls on the Saturday, the credit union will be closing on the Friday which is the previous day. If the holiday falls on the Sunday, the offices of this credit union will be closing the following day which is the Monday.
